Where it all started
My background is in marine biology. It was the pull of finding and photographing fishes at depths beyond recreational reach that first drew me into technical diving. While learning to dive a rebreather in Mexico, I simultaneously went down the cave diving rabbit hole. After earning my hypoxic CCR and cave CCR certifications, I wanted to put these new skills into action in different environments. This led me to technical diving destinations around the world, including Chuuk Lagoon, Bikini Atoll, the Molnár János Cave system in Budapest, mines across Poland, Plura Cave in Norway, and the HMHS Britannic shipwreck in Greece, to name a few.
What I love most, though, is working with divers — encouraging them to build and apply new skills, helping them feel more comfortable underwater, and guiding them through new environments. And if we happen to see some fish along the way? That’s cool too.
I’ll see you in the water.
